MINOR IN PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
Program Requirements
A. Admission
Students may be admitted to minor programs offered by the College of Education after satisfying the following requirements:
- College of Education Students
- Completion of at least two semesters or 30 academic units
- Written application addressed to the College Secretary endorsed by the student’s program adviser
- Written acceptance to the minor program by the College Secretary
- Students from other units and colleges
- Completion of at least two semesters or 30 academic units in his/her home unit
- Good academic standing in the home unit
- Written application addressed to the College Secretary of the College of Education endorsed by the student’s home unit
- Written acceptance to the minor program by the College of Education College Secretary
B. Retention
Students will be assessed after taking nine units of the prescribed courses. A GWA of 2.5 or better in these courses is to be maintained.
Minor in Professional Education
This minor program is designed for non-Education undergraduate students who want to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
