The two-day event features plenary lectures, paper presentations, and workshops that aims to:
(1) provide a platform for open discussions on emergent issues, trends and innovations of STEM education in the country;
(2) facilitate the exchange of insights, research findings, and best practices in STEM education; and
(3) create strong networks among educators in fortifying STEM education.

For interested presenters, follow these SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

  1. Abstract of not more than 300 words and 3-5 keywords;
  2. Include: title, complete name of authors, office address, institutional affiliation and email address
  3. Send the abstract in document format to UPsySTEMUPgrade2019Submissions@gmail.com with the subject ABSTRACT_

Here is the updated official list of College of Education candidates for the various positions in the forthcoming special and regular University Student Council (USC) and College of Education Student Council (CESC) elections scheduled on April 5, 6, 8, 10, and 11, 2019.

Ms. Maria Ana Rae A. Tambaoan of Sikhay Eduk, one of the 11 candidates for CESC Councilor position decided to withdraw her certificate of candidacy last Friday, March 22, 2019.

As indicated in OCVSA Memorandum No. JFA 2019-21 dated 14 February 2019,

“Certificates will be awarded to University Scholars and other outstanding students who have excelled academically and brought honor and prestige to the University. These are students who have been University Scholars in either or both of the last two semesters, or who have received national and international awards in various fields.”

In this connection, all student achievers as described above are requested to furnish this Office with a photocopy of their proof/s of citation or certificate of award/recognition on or before Monday, 11th March 2019. Kindly present the original document/s for verification purposes when you come to submit your proof/s. Appropriate and prompt action is requested, so we can accordingly consolidate the list of achievers and submit the same to the OVCSA before the set deadline.
