The Parangal 2022 Committee has already started preparations for Parangal 2022. The plan for this year’s Parangal, which is still subject to the approval of the University of the Philippines authorities, is to hold the program physically. This program will also be streamed on the Internet. Because of the need to adhere to protocols that aim to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the number of those who will physically attend the activity will be limited. Each participant will only be allowed to bring a maximum of two (2) vaccinated guests to the program.

In line with this, the Parangal 2022 Committee would like to have a sense of the number of graduates interested in attending the program through a survey form. You may access the form here: https://forms.gle/hmanonPMKViVJXxC7. This was also sent to your e-mails. If you have not received the email, please contact us at educosec.updiliman@up.edu.ph. Please answer the form by April 27, 2022.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

UPD Ugnayan ng Pahinungod’s Psychosocial Support Program (PSP)

Over the past two years, UPD Ugnayan ng Pahinungod has focused on its Psychosocial Support Program (PSP), a mental health program that aims to help the constituents of the University become resilient by enhancing their capacity for psychosocial support and providing listening ears to those who are feeling stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed by their present situations. Currently, a total of 107 Peer Support Volunteers (PSVs) serve under the program and have undergone training sessions on Psychological First Aid (PFA) and Community Resiliency Model (CRM). These volunteers run the free online psychosocial peer support service that was opened to the UP Diliman community last May 2020.

This service is open to the students, faculty, REPs, staff, and alumni of the University of the Philippines. The Psychosocial Support Program (PSP) is among Pahinungod’s responses to the continuing challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
